"They came to Capernaum.  When he was in the house, he asked them, 'What were you arguing about on the road?'  But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest.  Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, 'If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all.'  He took a little child and had him stand among them.  Taking him in his arms, he said to them, 'Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.'"  Mark 9:33-37 (NIV)

Jesus went about teaching and "fleshing out" the good news of the kingdom of God.  What is the kingdom of God?  How do we understand and experience the good news of the kingdom of God?  My answer at this point in time is: (1) Seek God's kingdom; (2) Pray that God will open our eyes to his kingdom; (3) Partner with Jesus in his mission; (4) Then, we will discover the kingdom.  Notice the underlined words: Seek, Pray, Partner, Discover!  As disciples of Jesus, we will progressively discover the kingdom of God as we continue the mission of Jesus.  Let me share two stories from The Well to illustrate what I am attempting to communicate.
