When both parents work outside the home, life can be difficult. On top of that, the demanding schedule of sports, band, and other activities makes spending time with your spouse and children a challenging task. The
Dynamic Families course offers a way for families to function
as God intended. It's great for the blended family, traditional family,
single parent family, step family, and extended family where grandparents serve as the primary caregiver for the children.
Based on Stinnett and Beam's Fantastic Families, the culmination of twenty-five years of world-wide research involving over 14,000 families, the course teaches you six proven steps to building a strong family. You'll benefit from strategies and helps that put these vital steps to work in your family, taking the guesswork out of parenting. By design, most of the learning occurs outside the class in family exercises. Students (grades six and up) and parents attend class together and share their experiences in a group setting with other families, fostering accountability and support.
Class is currently underway at Madison Street with a great showing of support. If you would like to learn more about this exciting course and how it can help you, please contact Jim Kilcullen, Family & Youth Minister.
